Hello...? (hello...hello...)

I know.
I've been gone from the blog for a looooong time.
I've neglected to post about birthday parties, a softball championship, end of the year school stuff, several relative-visits, DISNEY WORLD, swimming/summer stuff, FCA Camp, and more.   It's gotten so far out of hand, that I get a headache when I think about it... (Good thing I don't think about it much, Ha!)

So.  Here are some pictures for you:
(I'm probably only talking to you, Grammy!)
A quick comparison from a year ago:
It is reeeeealy hard to get Isaac to cooperate sometimes.  Like right before lunch.  :)
Happy 4th of July!

(Hopefully I won't be saying "Merry Christmas!" in my next post!)

What we do this time of year:

Miss 3rd Base:
Halle is on a decent little team this year- they are undefeated so far, and their coach is doing an excellent job.
This is Halle's last year of coach-pitch softball.  She has gotten a good hit every at bat so far, and several nice hard shots for doubles/triples!
The boys eat supper in the wagon in between fields a LOT.  Unfortunately, Halle and Cate have games at the same time more often than not, and the fields are NOT close together.
I need to get my good camera at one of Cate's earlier games.  Pictures under the lights are not quite as good and clear...
We should've played Cate up a league (didn't know we could until it was too late!)  But she is still having fun, and likes to practice getting outs even if they don't call them in her league.  She has been slugging the ball well too.  A coach from Halle's league stopped me after Cate's last game to ask her name, and let me know he wants to draft her on his team next year- HA!  Her first recruiting contact.

Ty is playing too.  We are at the ball fields at least 3 nights a week, and with church classes on Wednesday nights, these weeks are flying by.  The pool is open (even though it's been too cold to go.)  School is winding down.  Summer will be here in the blink of an eye!

Ty is five FIVE!

We had a little party with just us and one other family of friends on Saturday.  Ty wanted a "Spurs party with chocolate cake and Gatorade."  So that's what we did.  :)
Before supper the kids played outside.  I only got ONE picture though.
I believe this was the jumpball of the "Spurs vs. Cavs" game:
Halle made Ty a present, and used her treasure box choice to get him a little dinosaur.  :)
Cate's card for Ty:

Sunday, the 12th, was his actual birthday day, and his "Yes Day".

"Can we have chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast?"
"Yes."

"Can I watch Spurs vs. Rockets before we leave?"
"Yes."

"Can I wear my Jordan jersey to church?  With gym shorts?"
"Yes."
"Can we go the park after church?  With a happy meal?"
"Yes."
"Can we skip naps?"
"...No."

"Can I go to the gym with Daddy?  With my new scoreboard?"
"Yes."
(Apparently he and Kyle- one of our players- had quite the 1-on-1 battle.  Ha!)

"Can we have Daddy's oatmeal for supper?"
"Yes."

"Can we play outside until baths?"
"Of course."

Happy Birthday, T-Y.
We love you forever.

Easter 2015

The storm rises from the deep
And rages around me
But I will remember
When doubt wars within my heart
The battle almost lost
I will remember
You have the last word
It is finished
You have the last word
It is finished
My fear is silenced in Your love
My hope is endless

Your voice that calmed the violent sea
Speaks courage over me
So I will remember
The words that wake the sun to rise
Are breaking through my night
And I will remember
 You have the last word
It is finished
You have the last word
It is finished
My fear is silenced in Your love
My hope is endless
Your Word stands through the ages
Your voice shatters the darkness
In You we are more than conquerors
You speak and strongholds surrender
Your name overcomes the enemy
In You we are more than conquerors

 You have the last word
It is finished
You have the last word
It is finished
My fear is silenced in Your love
My hope is endless

Mississippi SNOW (part 2)

Yesterday's snow was MUCH better for playing in.
Wet and heavy, but powdery enough to be soft.
Perfect.

Isaac thought it was fun to catch it as it fell (a completely new experience).  In his hands and his mouth...
The beginning of her snowmonsterman:
They had to recruit Daddy to lift the parts onto this guy-
(I claimed darkness last night, and told them to ask JD in the morning... I might be a weenie.)
Cate gave up on her huge snowman, and settled for a more manageable size.  :)
Bandit sits on these (DRY, SUNNY) steps all day long and looks in the back door.  He wants to be an indoor cat SO bad.  He will not win that battle.
Ty's face has "little brother" written all over it:
Isaac learned quickly to save the good snowballs until you're up close.  Ha!
And they BOTH learned that Sister Will Get Her Revenge!
One of the Revenged-Upon was a baby about it:  :)

(Still being a big baby.)

These huge guys lasted exactly 2 1/2 hours before they melted enough to fall over.

Not gonna lie- I like that kind of snow.  This muddy mess will be gone, and it will be green again before we know it.  Mississippi is good that way.
